Huge Shock As AEW Star To Miss The Rest Of 2025
Tony Khan has been forced into a major change for Dynamite as one AEW star has been ruled out of action for the rest of 2025.
Tony Khan previously confirmed three matches for the 6th anniversary edition of Dynamite that will take place in Hollywood, Florida, on October 1st. Hangman Adam Page was in action on that first edition of Dynamite, and he’ll be in action on the 6th anniversary show as he teams with Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs to face the Death Riders.
AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander finally rejected the Death Riders’ advances when she laid out Wheeler Yuta with a clothesline. Now Statlander will team with Darby Allin in a mixed tag team match against Marina Shafir and Yuta.
The third match confirmed for the show would have seen Kyle Fletcher defend his TNT Championship against the undefeated Hologram in a streak vs. title match – but that bout now won’t happen.
Hologram Out For 2025 Says AEW Boss
On Collision, Kyle Fletcher attacked Hologram backstage, and Tony Khan has now claimed on social media that Hologram will miss the rest of 2025 due to injury:
Get well soon, @AEWHologram! After an unprovoked attack backstage at #AEWCollision tonight by TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher, Hologram has significant injuries. We’re all cheering for Hologram + wishing him the best in his recovery. Sadly, Hologram likely is out the rest of 2025.

Orange Cassidy will take Hologram’s place in the match against Kyle Fletcher.
The timing of the apparent injury is interesting, as videos of Hologram’s nemesis Clon have played, indicating his imminent arrival. It remains to be seen what this means for Clon and if Hologram’s apparent disappearance could have anything to do with his debut.
