Shock AEW Return After 22 Months On Collision 100

AEW Tony Khan

Amid rumours that one AEW star is looking to escape the company, another one missing for almost two years has finally returned.

In September 2023, Britt Baker lost a TBS Title match against Kris Statlander, and that was the last time Baker competed in AEW until 10 months later. However, Baker’s 2024 return was highlighted by a loss to Mercedes Mone at All In London. Following a win over Penelope Ford in November 2024, Baker has not been seen again.

Now, it’s been suggested that Britt Baker is trying to force an exit from AEW. Many fans have noted the timing as if Baker does become a free agent before All In Texas, she could well debut for WWE on the same day that the show takes place at NXT Great American Bash or Saturday Night’s Main Event.

AEW Collision Takes Place In Beautiful Southern California

Britt Baker is only one of several AEW stars not seen in quite some time, but now another long-time absent star has finally returned.

On the 100th edition of Collision taped after Dynamite 300 in Ontario, California, Max Caster held another open challenge, but this time it was answered by former AEW Tag Team and TNT Champion Scorpio Sky. Sky picked up the win in his first AEW match since September 2023, when he lost to Andrade El Idolo on the 14th edition of Collision. That match was only one of three Sky had in 2023, after a previous year-long layoff from the company.
