Sheamus Rules Out Brutal WWE Rematch
Sheamus was back in the King of the Ring tournament in WWE on Raw but after a tough loss and a brutal match, he might wish he hadn’t bothered.
Sheamus returned to WWE shortly after WrestleMania after a six-month layoff due to injury. Promising a return to banger after banger after banger, WWE fans didn’t have to wait long for a mouth-watering match as the Irish star was paired with his old rival Gunther in the King of the Ring.
The two stars had met previously in one-on-one matches twice on WWE TV, the most famous of those bouts coming at Clash at the Castle where they stole the show and despite Gunther picking up the win, it was Sheamus who received a standing ovation from the crowd in Wales.
On Raw in Hartford, the two stars faced off again and like the previous occasions, Gunther picked up the win, forcing Sheamus to tap out in a sickening single-leg crab.
Sheamus Wants No More Of Gunther
Taking to social media, Sheamus showed off the brutal reality of tangling with Gunther and indicated he wants no further part of The Ring General by ruling out a fourth meeting between the pair:

The full bracket for the King of the Ring tournament has been revealed by WWE and long-time NXT fans will be salivating at the prospect of Gunther and Ilja Dragunov clashing in a potential semi-final match in that tournament.
