Sheamus Claims He Has ‘The Greatest Finisher’ In Pro Wrestling And Beyond
Sheamus has proclaimed the Brogue Kick is the greatest finisher in the history of all professional combat.
Extreme Rules saw the latest chapter in the rivalry between GUNTHER and Sheamus as they led Imperium and The Brawling Brutes into battle in a Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook match.
The two men first met in the ring in a critically-acclaimed battle at Clash at the Castle with the Intercontinental Championship on the line. Although Sheamus lost the bout, he continued to target the title and the pair fought again on the October 7th edition of SmackDown with the Irish star again coming up short.
At Extreme Rules in Philadelphia, Imperium and The Brawling Brutes had as hard-hitting a match as you might expect, brawling all over the ring and on the outside where barrels and bar tops were used to great effect.
In the end, Shaemus got a modicum of revenge for his previous losses, laying out Giovanni Vinci with a Brogue Kick to take the victory for his team.
In the aftermath of the bout, Sheamus has taken to social media to make the claim that the kick is not just the best finisher in the history of pro wrestling, but all professional combat.

Sheamus has used the Brogue Kick for much of his WWE career. It’s a devastating move that most infamously led to him defeating Bryan Danielson for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 28 in only 18 seconds.
