Shayna Baszler remains confident.

On May 2, WWE began its latest round of talent cuts with several surprising names leaving the company.

From the main roster, Katana Chance, Kayden Carter, Shayna Baszler, Dakota Kai, and Braun Strowman were all let go. While Cora Jade, Riley Osborne, Eddy Thorpe, Gigi Dolin, Jakara Jackson, Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang, Oro Mensah, and Javier Bernal were all cut from NXT.

The cuts came after WWE also let go of several office staff, including the Senior Vice President, Creative Writing Operations, Christine Lubrano.

Shayna Baszler Ready For Whatever Comes Next

Of those released, Shayna Baszler’s departure was undoubtedly one of the most surprising. After all, she’s a two-time NXT Women’s Champion who has regularly shared the ring with many of the biggest names in the women’s division across her five years on the main roster.

However, it seems that Baszler isn’t letting her release drag her down, writing on social media that no one can offer what she can.

No one can offer what I have to offer. Reality. Let the Galaxy burn.

After beginning her athletic career in MMA, Shayna Baszler jumped to pro wrestling in 2015. For the next two years, she wrestled across the independent scene and with promotions such as Stardom before signing with WWE.

Baszler started with NXT in 2017 and won the Women’s Championship twice. Once promoted to the main roster, Baszler became a three-time Women’s Tag Team Champion, although singles gold remained elusive.
