Shawn Michaels has promised fans heading to SummerSlam they could get a unique experience as WWE opens up its doors in a whole new way.

Since Endeavor took over WWE, the company has sought to maximise opportunities for fans to spend money on the company with new experiences.

Taking its lead from Tony Khan’s approach to AEW, WWE now holds press conferences after premium live events and has opened those up to paying fans as well. And now there’s a whole new experience coming for WWE fans heading to SummerSlam in Cleveland.

WWE Opening Up Tryouts To Fans

Taking to social media, Shawn Michaels has revealed that fans will get a first-time-ever opportunity to witness a tryout before SummerSlam with athletes hoping to be signed by the company:

For the very first time, we’re opening the doors for fans to witness the best athletes on the planet compete for a shot at becoming a @WWE Superstar

On the same day as the latest tryout, WWE will also present Damian Priest Live one day before he puts his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Gunther at SummerSlam.

SummerSlam will also see CM Punk return to action in WWE for the first time since the Royal Rumble as he takes on Drew McIntyre with Seth Rollins as the special guest referee.
