Shawn Michaels once got beaten up by six U.S. Marines.

WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative and currently overseeing the NXT developmental brand, Shawn Michaels, recently spoke about his younger days, and admitted that he wasn’t the most mature person back then.

In his older life, Shawn Michaels is an outright success being a part of the corporate ladder of World Wrestling Entertainment, however, the two-time Hall of Famer chose a hard path to get where he’s at today.

Back in 1995, the “Heartbreak Kid” was in the middle of his battle with addiction, and at this particular time, it was taking a toll on him. So much so, that Michaels would end up in a hospital after being non-kayfabe beaten up by six United States Marines.

Recently making an appearance on Logan Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast for an interview, HBK discussed his recollections from that particular night, and also what he remembers about his habits at that time, this after Sean “X-Pac” Waltman would recently shed light on the past situation.

“I know as much as what I’ve known back then because I was all hammered and then I woke up in the hospital. I don’t know how accurate that is because we were all not in the best shape. I’m sure I was being obnoxious, but I have no recollection of any of that.

The last thing I can remember is dropping my coat off at the coat check. Then I’m waking up in the hospital. Unfortunately, I was in that position a lot of times. I would wake up in an emergency room and go get three or four more hours of sleep, go to the gym, go wrestle. I was very functioning.”
