Shawn Michaels Forced To Get Physical After WWE Backstage Chaos

NXT boss Shawn Michaels has been forced to get physical with one WWE star after a backstage incident erupted.

NXT is preparing for its next special event with Deadline taking place on December 7th. That show will see two Iron Survivor Challenge matches taking place to crown the next number one contenders for both the NXT and the NXT Women’s Championships.

Ridge Holland will also challenge for the NXT Championship against Trick Williams at Deadline while the NXT Tag Team Championship will also be on the line as Nathan Frazer and Axiom defend their gold against the winners of a battle royal that will take place on the 3rd of December edition of NXT.

It was that last announcement that put NXT General Manager Ava in harm’s way and forced Shawn Michaels to spring into action.

Shawn Michaels Furious With Eddy Thorpe

As Ava told Frazer and Axiom about the battle royal plans, several tag teams broke out into a backstage brawl. As Ava tried to leave the scene she was stopped by Eddy Thorpe who again wanted to speak to her. Ava told him she didn’t have time and he grabbed her by the wrist to make his point which led to Ava being knocked down by a door that swung open due to the wild brawl taking place.

An irate Shawn Michaels soon appeared to help Ava and as Thorpe tried to apologise, The Heartbreak Kid slammed into a wall and berated him for putting his hands on the NXT General Manager.

The 26th of November edition of NXT also saw one WWE star return to TV after eight months out due to injury as an old rivalry looks to be resurrected.
