Shawn Michaels “Did A Lot Of Things He Shouldn’t” With Ex-WWE Star

Triple H & Shawn Michaels

Someone who knows Shawn Michaels extremely well has revealed some of what they got up to which they probably shouldn’t have.

The tales of what ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels got up to in his earlier years in WWE are reasonably well documented – as much as the world knows anyway. Coming from an era where partying was commonplace, there can be no doubt that the former World Champion did his fair share.

In a discussion with Bill Apter for Sportskeeda’s WrestleBinge, former Rockers tag team partner Marty Jannetty has given an insight to some of their antics outside of the ring, and quite how frequently these things would happen.

Oh my God partying. We would do every third weekend in Vegas for Showboat. We were young. We did a lot of things we shouldn’t do back then. The partying with the extras in it, you know, besides the alcohol. Vegas is a place that never sleeps. I know New York City doesn’t either, but Vegas is like, you open your door, here’s the party waiting on you.

The Rockers started out in WWE in 1987, and would stay together as a team for the next four years until the infamous Barbershop segment where Michaels hit a superkick on Jannetty which sent his partner through the window.

In recent years there has been plenty said about what Marty Jannetty has been up to, and he will now be one of the featured episodes in the new series of Dark Side Of The Ring.
