Shane McMahon Breaks Silence On Rumors Of Vince McMahon Reacquiring WWE

Shane McMahon with Vince McMahon on WWE RAW

Shane McMahon finally addressed the rumors suggesting his father, Vince McMahon, may reacquire WWE.

Over the past few days, former WWE announcer Jonathan Coachman disclosed that a source confirmed to him that Vince McMahon would be interested in buying back his former company if the opportunity arises. Dr. Chris Featherstone later reported the same.

Although TKO sources reportedly denied that the Stamford-based company was for sale, Vince McMahon’s son refused to rule out the possibility that his father would reacquire WWE in a recent interview with TMZ.

Well, he owns a big part of TKO still, so you never know what’s going to happen there either. So, I’m not trying to be vague. I’m just saying anything can happen, of course.

Vince Russo thinks Saudi Arabia would help Vince McMahon re-buy WWE

On the Russo’s Brand podcast, former WWE head writer Vince Russo speculated that Vince McMahon already has a plan to reacquire his former company.

The wrestling veteran claimed the ex-chairman might have struck a deal with TKO CEO Ari Emanuel, involving his Saudi partners re-purchasing WWE to restore him to his former position.

Vince would be a big part of it. Vince would be their top guy. Vince would be running things. Vince would have his stake in the company. But make no mistake about it, the Saudis would own WWE.

Russo also believes that Triple H wants the “biggest Vince McMahon guy” out of the Stamford-based company.
