Shane McMahon Shares New Video Following WrestleMania Injury

Shane McMahon

Three weeks on from his WrestleMania match being cut short due to injury, Shane McMahon has shared a video indicating how his recovery is going.

After an unsuccessful impromptu match at the first night of WrestleMania 39, The Miz was looking for a new challenger the following day. Cue the WWE return of Shane McMahon, who was appearing for the first time since his short-lived run around the 2022 Royal Rumble.

Unfortunately, this return didn’t last long either but for very different reasons. Early on in the contest, McMahon went for a leapfrog and crumpled in pain with an injured leg, which transpired to be a torn quadricep. He was helped away from ringside, with an even more impromptu ending where Snoop Dog hit The Miz with his version of The People’s Elbow to pick up the three count for himself.

Now, it would seem Shane McMahon’s recovery is going reasonably well as he has posted a video on Instagram showing him working out with personal trainer Melvin Sanders, football player Derrick Henry and physical therapist Luke Miller.

Although seemingly in good spirits, it’s highly likely Shane McMahon is quite some way away from making an in-ring return, and there has been no word since WrestleMania on whether WWE would be interested in him coming back as more than a guest appearance like he made at ‘The Showcase Of The Immortals’.
