Seth Rollins Issues Open Challenge For WWE World Title On June 5th Raw
Seth Rollins is proving to be a fighting WWE World Champion after making a big announcement on social media.
It has been less than one week since Seth “Freakin” Rollins won the brand new WWE World Heavyweight Title in the finals of the tournament to crown a champion.
Seth Rollins and AJ Styles met in the opening match of Night of Champions and had a terrific match. While Styles came close to winning a few times, Rollins got the win with The Stomp and left Jeddah, Saudi Arabia as the new World Heavyweight Champion.
On the May 29th edition of Raw that followed, Styles congratulated on the win while Rollins talked about how he was going to be a fighting champion. They also teamed up together to beat The Judgment Day in the main event of Raw.
Today on Twitter, Rollins posted his full schedule of WWE events for the month of June.
June 2023
White Plains 6/3
Manchester 6/4
Hartford 6/5
Des Moines 6/9
Wichita 6/12
Cincinnati 6/17
Charleston 6/18
Cleveland 6/19
Savannah 6/26
Liverpool 6/28
Sheffield 6/29
Newcastle 6/30
After that, Seth Rollins asked on Twitter when the last time a Men’s World Heavyweight Title has been defended on Raw.
About to jump on this flight to White Plains and was wondering….anyone here remember the last time the men’s Heavyweight Title was defended on an episode of #RAW? @USANetwork@WWE
It turns out that it was all the way back in November 2021 when Big E was the WWE Champion. That is over a year and a half ago.
From there, Seth Rollins would go on to issue an open challenge for anyone to challenge him for the World Heavyweight Title on the June 5th episode of Raw in Hartford.
My man @WWEBigE was the last defender of the crown…..in November 2021?!??
Let’s change that.
Open Challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship is officially LIVE for THIS Monday night in Hartford!
Line ‘em up! #RAW@WWE@USANetwork
