WWE Urged To Let An Angry Seth Rollins Cut Unscripted Promo
A WWE Hall of Famer believes that WWE should let Seth Rollins speak from the heart.
Even though Seth Rollins isn’t holding the WWE World Heavyweight Title like he did in the past, he is still, in many ways, one of the focal points of the WWE Monday Night Raw brand.
Seth Rollins is leading a dominant heel faction with Bron Breakker, the “Wise Man” Paul Heyman, and the group’s newest addition, Bronson Reed. Whether more wrestlers will join is unknown, but the three guys they have now, along with the mind of Heyman, have the makings of a supergroup that could dominate for a long time.
During a WWE Raw discussion on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley (aka Bully Ray) and co-host Dave LaGreca spoke about Rollins and his group. They mentioned that Rollins is such a polished performer.
As Bully Ray made his point, he complimented Rollins on his great look from Monday, noting that his leather attire had enhanced his presentation. Bully went on to talk about what Rollins needs to do on the microphone.
“Seth is angry. There is anger deep in Seth Rollins about a lot of things. If you can’t tell, then you don’t know. Hand him the microphone and say just go out there…what do they have to lose?”
“There are certain people in the course of history that have been trusted to go out there and say whatever they want because management, the bosses, the bookers, have faith in them. Very few. But few…a handful. I believe that CM Punk and Seth Rollins are part of that handful. I want to see Seth get to that next level on the microphone. Why was I in favor of Seth being with Paul Heyman? Because I saw what Paul Heyman could do for everybody else. I want to see that happen for Seth.”
“I don’t give a s**t that I might think Seth’s outfits are a little wonky…okay…whatever. Seth is a great professional wrestler and when Seth is angry, when I get the real Seth Rollins coming out, that’s when I start to believe. There’s so much untapped, and I’m wondering what the f**k is taking Paul so long to get into him.”
Seth Rollins Looking To Become Mr. Money In The Bank Again
One of the breakout moments in the career of Seth Rollins came after he won Money in the Bank in 2014. Rollins held onto that coveted briefcase until WrestleMania 31 when he cashed in on Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, which led to Rollins hitting The Stomp and winning the WWE Title for the first time. It’s a moment that Michael Cole called the “Heist of the Century,” and WWE fans will remember it forever.
Seth Rollins will try to win Money in the Bank this year as well when he competes against five other superstars at the Money in the Bank PLE on June 7th in Los Angeles.
Out of the six men in this year’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, Rollins is the only one who is a former WWE Champion. Rollins is likely the favorite in the match, but when you consider that Rollins and his friends cost Sami Zayn and CM Punk spots in the match, then perhaps those two men could have revenge on their minds.
The lineup for Money in the Bank is below.

* Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso vs. John Cena & Logan Paul
* Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Andrade vs. Seth Rollins vs. LA Knight vs. Solo Sikoa vs. Penta vs. El Grande Americano
* Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Naomi vs. Giulia vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Stephanie Vaquer
* Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Lyra Valkyria vs. Becky Lynch
You can watch WWE Money in the Bank, streaming live on Saturday, June 7, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Peacock in the United States and on Netflix everywhere else.
