In the main event of RAW, Seth Rollins took on Finn Balor and Sami Zayn. Rollins has had a storied rivalry with both stars and pulled out all the stops to ensure he booked his spot for the PLE on June 9th. Even though Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed made their presence felt, Dominik Mysterio’s unintentional assist allowed Rollins to hit Balor with The Stomp on a steel chair for the win.
CM Punk Ruined Seth Rollins’ Victory Celebration After Qualifying For Money In The Bank
Seth Rollins had a great weekend, winning his tag team match with Bron Breakker against CM Punk and Sami Zayn. His good fortune continued into WWE RAW, with him qualifying for the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match. While the former WWE Champion was celebrating his victory, CM Punk’s music hit to a loud ovation.
Seth Rollins immediately sent his crew up the ramp to cut the Cult Of Personality off. However, to Rollins’ surprise, Punk snuck in through the crowd and hit him with the Go To Sleep. Punk immediately fled the scene before Breakker and Reed could get into the ring. The show ended with Rollins’ nemesis celebrating in the crowd.
