Seth Rollins Names WWE Star He’d Like To “Beat The Hell Out Of”
Seth Rollins has given his thoughts on potential opponents at WWE Money in the Bank, including one man he’d like to “beat the hell out of” at the show.
As the first-ever WWE World Heavyweight Champion (at least this version of the title with that name), Seth Rollins has a lot of people coming after him. After all, the Raw roster hasn’t had an active WWE/World Champion on the show for quite a while and with Rollins claiming he wants to take on all comers, that means there are a lot of contenders.
This past Monday on the June 5th edition of Raw, Seth Rollins had his first televised title defense against Damian Priest. While The Judgment Day’s Priest put up quite a fight, Rollins was able to put him away with The Stomp.
After the match was over, Seth “Freakin” Rollins had a bit of a staredown with Priest’s ally in The Judgment Day, Finn Balor. Considering Money in the Bank on July 1st takes place in London, England, perhaps the Irishman Balor will be the one to challenge Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title on that night.
While speaking to Mark Andrews on My Love Letter to Wrestling podcast, Seth Rollins was asked about potential opponents at Money in the Bank while pointing out a specific member of The Judgment Day that he would like to beat up in front of the London crowd.
“Oh my god, there’s so many people. The Raw roster is so stacked right now. We’ve got guys like Cody, you’ve got Kevin, you’ve got Sami. We’ve got, I think Drew McIntyre on the injured list at the moment right now. You’ve got Bronson Reed, Shinsuke Nakamura, the entire Judgment Day. You’ve got all four of them that are just rocking right now.”
“I would love to beat the hell out of Dominik Mysterio in front of a rowdy London crowd. I think there’s lots of options on the table, so we’ll see what happens and where it all shakes out, but I think, right now, the thing I’m most excited for is just to go out there and listen to the fine folks sing my song. That’s really what gets me off these days.”
In addition to his opponents on Raw, Seth Rollins might also have to deal with NXT’s Bron Breakker soon since the former NXT Champion challenged Rollins to a match on last week’s NXT show. No word on if Rollins will be on NXT this coming week to accept that challenge.
