Seth Rollins To Face WWE SmackDown Star At Saturday Night’s Main Event

Seth Rollins had a difficult night on WWE Raw.

After spending the first part of 2025 holding and then looking to regain the United States Championship, LA Knight has set his sights on getting revenge.

During the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, subsequently won by Seth Rollins, Knight was taken out just seconds before he seemed destined to grab victory. This meant yet another high-profile near-miss for Knight, who continues to wait for his shot at World Championship gold.

In recent weeks, Knight has continued to clash with Rollins’ stable and was taken out on SmackDown by Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker, but now he’s back for revenge.

Seth Rollins Runs Into Trouble

On the June 30 edition of Raw, Gunther looked ahead to his match with Goldberg at Saturday Night’s Main Event. During the promo, he showed his usual level of disdain for the WCW legend, commenting that he could easily beat him in three minutes, but instead, he’s looking to blow him up and embarrass him.

When Gunther questioned, “Who’s Next?” Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman arrived on the scene. The World Champion mocked them for flying all the way to Saudi Arabia to accomplish very little, but they shot back, claiming they got what they wanted, to stop CM Punk from becoming World Champion.

Rollins said that holding the Money in the Bank contract meant an assault on both World Championships, but before he could go any further, Punk sprinted to the ring, looking to attack.

However, Rollins had no desire to stick around and escaped into the crowd, but his plan didn’t quite come off. Instead of getting out of harm’s way, Rollins got straight into a brawl with LA Knight.

Later in the show, Punk said he had receipts for everyone in Rollins’ group, but LA Knight said he had Seth Rollins at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
