Seth Rollins Breaks WWE Record With Money In The Bank Win
Seth Rollins is Mr. Money In The Bank.
At Money In The Bank, Seth Rollins claimed the coveted Money In The Bank briefcase for the second time.
Rollins was helped to victory by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, but that doesn’t mean his path to the win was straightforward. With Breakker and Mateo on the scene, Jacob Fatu came out to help Solo Sikoa, and Sikoa seemed to be on the verge of victory, until Fatu grabbed his knee.
Fatu yelled that he hated Sikoa and smashed him through a ladder.
This left the way clear for Rollins to take out LA Knight and claim the win.
Earlier in the night, Naomi overcame Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, Roxanne Perez, Alexa Bliss, and Giulia to win the Women’s Money In The Bank briefcase for the first time.
Seth Rollins Makes WWE History
With his latest victory, Rollins became only the second person to claim the famous briefcase twice, pulling level with CM Punk. Rollins first won the briefcase back in 2014, while Punk picked up wins in 2008 and 2009.
Rollins has also set the record for the length of time between Money In The Bank victories, with this win coming 10 years, 11 months, and 10 days after his first.
In a recent interview, Seth Rollins claimed that the only person who hates CM Punk more than him is his wife, Becky Lynch. He added that even his young daughter dislikes Punk and refuses to listen to his theme music.
