Rumor Killer Regarding Seth Rollins’ WWE Future
Following some bizarre rumors about the future of Seth Rollins in WWE, some clarification has been given about the status of the former WWE Champion.
There has been some chatter among the internet wrestling community regarding the future of Seth Rollins in WWE. Rollins, who has been on the WWE main roster since November 2012, is clearly one of the biggest superstars in the company. However, there has been a lot of talk about what’s next for the man that has some unique fashion choices.
After he beat Logan Paul in a great match at WrestleMania 39, Seth “Freakin” Rollins was interviewed backstage on the April 3rd Raw. Rollins informed Cathy Kelley that the party wasn’t backstage, it was out in the ring.
When Rollins got to the ring, the show went to a commercial. Apparently during the commercial, a ringside producer gave Seth Rollins instructions about what he was supposed to be doing when the show returned. This was the show where Vince McMahon was changing things throughout the night. Instead of saying a word in the ring, Rollins led the crowd in singing his catchy theme song and then tossed the microphone out of the ring.
On a recent episode of his podcast, actor and former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. talked about the incident noting that Rollins was furious by what he was told and stormed his way to the back. Prinze speculated that Rollins was legitimately angry. Those comments from Freddie spread like wildfire around the internet leading to people thinking that Rollins was upset with WWE.
As for the April 10th edition of Raw, Seth Rollins didn’t appear on that show at all. It’s unknown what Rollins will be doing at Backlash on May 6th or if he will be on the card at all.
The WRKD Wrestling Twitter account, which has proven to be very accurate of late, put those rumors to rest.
“Squashing any rumors, Seth Rollins currently has no plans to leave the WWE.
One of the driving points is the amount of time he gets to spend with his family while on the road and he isn’t looking to change that.”

Regarding his travel, Rollins works with his wife Becky Lynch and they bring their young daughter Roux on the road with them. The couple usually travels by bus, so they get to spend a lot of time together while they “make the towns” working for WWE.
