Seth Rollins Calls Out WWE Co-Workers: “It’s A Paycheck, Right?”

Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins just called out his WWE co-workers.

Wrestling is a sport of passion. But Rollins feels like many current WWE stars are in it for just the money.

In a recent interview with Something’s Burning, The Visionary publically criticized WWE stars who joined the company just to get a paycheck. He didn’t name any names, but claimed that there are plenty of such people in the WWE locker room.

He added that some people eventually fall in love with the business even if they started out with no passion. But nonetheless, it is a cruel sport and those who don’t have the love and passion for the business ultimately crash and burn.

“It’s a paycheck, right? It’s a job. So there’s plenty of people that will do the job if they’re getting paid to do it.”

“Look, some people turn to it and they learn to love it after it becomes a love. I don’t think anybody stays in it for a career if they don’t love it, because it will wipe you out.”

Seth Rollins also pointed out the painful and draining nature of the business, although in recent times, the pressure has decreased quite a bit.

“It is a painful – as you see – physically and a mentally draining experience. Now the schedule’s way lighter than it used to be. We still travel every week, but we’re not doing nearly as many shows.”

“Back in the day when you and me, were doing 200 matches a year, that would weed people out very quickly if they didn’t love it. They would just get exhausted, burn out so fast they’d quit.”

“But yeah, there’s plenty of people I would say now on the main roster that don’t really have a love for it necessarily.”
