Seth Rollins was booed heavily at the NFL Draft while announcing a draft pick for his beloved Chicago Bears.

The three-day NFL Draft began on Thursday night with the first round, continued on Friday night with rounds 2 and 3, and will conclude on Saturday with rounds 4 through 7.

This year’s NFL Draft took place outside Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, with over 200,000 fans attending in person on the opening night.

Former WWE Champion Seth Rollins is a huge football fan who usually tweets “I love football” or “I hate football,” depending on how his Chicago Bears do in a game. Rollins has also been a panelist on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” and frequently appears on sports talk shows to discuss WWE, as well as the NFL and his Bears.

At the NFL Draft on Friday night, Seth Rollins appeared to announce a draft pick. Rollins had a WWE-Chicago Bears Title on his shoulder, so he was booed heavily by the crowd since the Bears and Packers are fierce rivals.

Rollins did his usual WWE-style promo, egging on the crowd and running over his nicknames. Rollins would go on to announce the 56th pick in the second round, which was the Bears’ third selection, offensive lineman Ozzy Trapilo from Boston College.

John Cena Also Appeared At The NFL Draft, But Not In Person Like Seth Rollins

During the 2nd and 3rd rounds of the NFL Draft, John Cena was in Forth Worth, Texas, on SmackDown, where he was confronted by Randy Orton in the ring. The two longtime rivals set up their WWE Title match at Backlash.

Meanwhile, at the NFL Draft, Cena appeared in a video message with actor Idris Alba where they set up the New England Patriots’ pick in the draft, which was the 69th pick overall in the 3rd round: Washington State wide receiver Kyle Williams.

Cena is from West Newbury, Massachussetts near Boston, so the Patriots are his local team.
