What Seth Rollins Really Thinks About Becky Lynch Partnership

Becky Lynch Seth Rollins WWE

Seth Rollins has opened up about how he really feels about pairing up with his wife Becky Lynch on-screen in WWE.

In 2019, after Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch both emerged from WrestleMania 35 with championship gold, Vince McMahon decided to pair up the real-life couple on-screen. This led to a feud with Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans and a huge mixed tag team match with Lynch and Rollins’ gold on the line. At the time, both spoke about being uncomfortable about putting their relationship front and centre in the ring, and they were soon flying solo again.

And that’s how things remained, despite the fact that they had a daughter and got married, until Clash in Paris, when Becky Lynch screwed CM Punk out of winning Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship. Now, Lynch is firmly part of The Vision, standing side-by-side with her husband in the ring.

With this force to be reckoned with, CM Punk looked close to home for someone to help win his battle with Rollins, leading to AJ Lee making her return to WWE after ten years away. Punk and Lee will clash with Lynch and Rollins in a mixed tag team match at Wrestlepalooza.

Seth Rollins Says Communication Is Key With Becky Lynch

Speaking on First Take, Seth Rollins has explained what it’s really like working so closely with his wife, and communication is the key to their success both on and off-screen:

I think what it boils down to for me is: iron sharpens iron. You know, we met through this industry. We met in 2015 or something like that, 2014, became friends, both started to kind of rise up at the same time, and found each other romantically.

Then we’ve been able to really use each other as a resource. And to get out there and perform with her, the way she preps is different than how I prep, and the way she performs and interacts is different. So we get to learn from each other, we get to bounce stuff off of each other.

And another thing is: we understand the grind. We understand what it takes on the other side of it. So there’s no pressure. It’s like — the ease with which we’re able to communicate, I think makes the partnership on-screen fantastic, obviously off-screen makes life super easy and fun.
