Seth Rollins Gives Thanks To Steve Austin For Very Unusual Reason

Steve Austin might have changed Seth Rollins’ life.

At WrestleMania 41, Seth Rollins will face Roman Reigns and CM Punk in one of the most highly-anticipated matches of the weekend.

Away from the ring, Rollins is also flying high. He signed a new big-money WWE contract in 2024, and he’s the proud father to a young daughter, Roux. In a recent interview, the star described becoming a father as the greatest thing he’s ever done.

But it seems Rollins and his wife Becky Lynch owe a small debt to a WWE legend who gave them an inadvertent nudge toward parenthood.

While guest hosting Good Morning Football, recalled Lynch sharing a few beers with Steve Austin on Raw in early 2020. He added that Austin is the reason he has a daughter as Lynch decided it was time to have a baby after those beers with the WWE Hall of Famer.

“My favorite Stone Cold moment that I’ve been a part of… Stone Cold is the reason I have a daughter. Flashback to March 2020—everybody knows COVID shuts down the world. It was the first WWE show post-COVID shutdown: 3:16 Raw.

It’s customary for somebody to drink with Stone Cold in the ring, and at the time, the hottest thing in professional wrestling was my lovely, incredible wife, The Man Becky Lynch. She happened to break open 1, 2, 3, 4 cold ones with Stone Cold at the end of Raw. That night, she was like, ‘I think it’s time I take some time off to have a baby.’”

It’s been announced that Steve Austin will be appearing at WWE World at the Las Vegas Convention Center on April 19 and 20. This has led many to wonder whether he could also appear at WrestleMania 41 in some capacity.

However, he’s unlikely to be physically involved as he continues to recover from knee replacement surgery. In a recent interview, the star admitted his recovery will take around a year, and he’s currently operating at only 30%.
