Seth Rollins Makes Surprise Admission About WrestleMania 40

Seth Rollins screams at The Rock

Seth Rollins has an interesting take on his involvement in WrestleMania 40.

With WrestleMania just around the corner, it’s been confirmed that Seth Rollins will be pulling double duty at the spectacular. As well as defending his World Heavyweight Title against Drew McIntyre, the star will team with Cody Rhodes to take on The Rock and Roman Reigns. If he and the American Nightmare are victorious, The Bloodline will be banned from ringside when Reigns meets Rhodes on night two.

Although there’s been no official announcement, the huge tag team match is expected to take the main event slot on night one — something not lost on Rollins. After competing at a recent live Rollins addressed fans and claimed he doesn’t consider his previous main event at WrestleMania 31 a real headline appearance.

A clip of Rollins’ promo was posted to social media.

“I know I had that big cash-in at WrestleMania 31, kind of snuck my way into the main event, but this year will be what I consider to be my first WrestleMania main event.”

Seth Rollins Returns To Action

The promo came just 24 hours after Seth Rollins made his return from injury. The World Champion had been out of action since suffering damage to his MCL on the January 15th episode of Raw when he defended his title against Jinder Mahal.

While there were initially fears Rollins could miss WrestleMania the man himself remained adamant he’d be back with time to spare.

In his comeback match, Rollins teamed with Cody Rhodes to defeat Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa.
