Seth Rollins Stripped Of World Heavyweight Championship On WWE RAW

Seth Rollins is no longer the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

At WrestleMania 41, Paul Heyman turned on Roman Reigns and CM Punk to align with Seth Rollins, allowing him to win the massive Triple Threat match. The following Monday on RAW, Bron Breakker was introduced as another member of The Visionary’s new faction.

Bronson Reed also joined the group that was later known as The Vision. Although Rollins promised to lead the wrestling industry into the future alongside his associates, he was unexpectedly betrayed by Breakker and Reed last Monday on RAW.

Seth Rollins Will Be Absent From WWE For Significant Time

As reports suggested Rollins was legitimately injured, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce kicked off tonight’s episode of the red brand to address the World Heavyweight Champion’s situation.

After being interrupted by The Vision, the RAW General Manager told Breakker and Reed that Rollins was injured because of them and has undergone surgery, which would leave him on the shelf for a significant time.

Meanwhile, Pearce announced that he was stripping The Visionary of the World Heavyweight Championship, revealing that a Battle Royal would take place tonight to find an opponent for CM Punk, who won a World Heavyweight Championship number-one contender’s match last week.
