Seth Rollins Reveals Expected WWE Return Date
Seth Rollins has revealed when he expects to be back in a WWE ring following his recent injury.
After Crown Jewel, Seth Rollins appeared to be on top of the world. The World Heavyweight Championship around his waist, The Vision watching his back, Paul Heyman doing his thinking, and also capturing the Crown Jewel Title with a huge win over Cody Rhodes. But life comes at you fast.
After his Crown Jewel win, The Vision brutally turned on Rollins with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed both taking out their leader. Paul Heyman sided with Breakker and Reed as questions were raised about the sudden nature of the betrayal.
It soon became clear that Seth Rollins had suffered a serious shoulder injury in his match with Cody Rhodes that was so severe that Rollins was forced to vacate the World Heavyweight Championship. Even worse for The Visionary is that the title is now back around the waist of his sworn enemy, CM Punk.
Seth Rollins Eyeing Up WrestleMania Comeback?
Speaking to Bert Kreischer on Something’s Burning, Seth Rollins gave the clearest indication yet of his timeline to return to action and seems to be targeting WrestleMania 41:
Once I get [the sling] off, which is in like another month, then it might be full vacation mode for a little while, before I lock in and have to start training to get ready to come back.
It’ll probably be gradual. I don’t even really know. My guess is eight to 12 weeks of, ‘Okay, now I have to stop eating like an a**hole.’ Probably 12 weeks. Plus, we’ll be moving right into WrestleMania season. I’m hoping around February, after all the holiday stuff, I can start to be like, ‘Lock in. No more BS.’
