Seth Rollins Makes Request To WWE Management

Seth Rollins thinks that WWE should air more of his interview that was shown on Monday Night Raw.

The main event of the first episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix on January 6th will see Seth Rollins finally step into the ring with CM Punk in a huge grudge match.

It’s a match that Rollins has wanted to have for over a year since Punk returned to WWE in November 2023 at Survivor Series. Since Punk was in a personal rivalry with Drew McIntyre for most of the year, he didn’t get a chance to face other wrestlers, but now that Punk has moved on from McIntyre, Rollins will finally get his shot.

Jackie Redmond interviewed Seth Rollins on the December 23rd edition of Raw in an interview that lasted under three minutes. Rollins said that he tried to explain how he felt about Punk and made the point that WWE doesn’t need Punk around. Rollins also admitted that it’s hard for him to let things go.

When Redmond asked Rollins what we could expect from the January 6th match, Rollins said that this was a fight, not a match and Rollins made it clear that he needed this fight right now.

As he continued, Rollins spoke about how he hated seeing CM Punk standing there beside Roman Reigns at Survivor Series as triumphant tag team partners in the WarGames match. Rollins stated that the world will be watching this match and you’ll see a side of him that nobody has ever seen. Seth said it would be raw, visceral, and violent because he had to extract this demon from his soul.

When Redmond said it sounded like Rollins needed to go through this fight, Rollins replied simply with: “Finally, can’t wait.”

Seth Rollins Wants WWE To Air More Of His Interview

The WWE social media team posted the Seth Rollins interview on X/Twitter, which led to Rollins making this request to WWE:

“Now post the other 30 minutes of this that didn’t make air.”

It’s not known if WWE will post more of the interview on social media or perhaps on the company’s YouTube channel, but clearly, Rollins wants more of it to be shown so the world can hear even more of his thoughts on his rivalry with Punk.

In addition to CM Punk facing Seth Rollins, the January 6th episode of Raw will also see Roman Reigns against Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat Match and Liv Morgan defending the Women’s World Title against Rhea Ripley as well.
