Seth Rollins Reveals Polygamy Almost Ruined Things With Becky Lynch

Seth Rollins Becky Lynch

Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch have been together since 2019. They have a daughter named Roux.

The Visionary and The Man are one of the cutest couples in WWE, and people love them wherever they work together on-screen. They last competed together at Wrestlepalooza against CM Punk and his wife, AJ Lee.

Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch have been going strong since they got together, but things were almost ruined before their relationship even started.

Seth Rollins Feared Commitment

During an appearance on Something’s Burning, Seth Rollins revealed that he used to believe in polygamy and that almost destroyed his chances with Lynch.

He didn’t want to settle with one person. He wanted to be with Becky, but also feared commitment.

I was going through an existential romantic crisis at the end of 2018 where I thought polygamy was the answer, and she was guiding me through this — as a friend. I became single, she was single, and then I started to make some, you know, ‘Hey, maybe we should fool around a little bit. Maybe we should just be more than friends.’ Casual — you know what I mean? Very casual.”

When he asked Lynch to get into a casual relationship with him, Lynch rejected her. The Man didn’t want to invest in a relationship with no future.

“She’s like, ‘Look, we should just be friends. You should go do what you want to do. You’re so excited about this. If we’re not going to be in, then let’s not waste our time… I’m happy for you that you found this side of yourself and I’ll support you, but I’m going to be your best friend.’”

Becky stated that she refused Rollins’ proposal because she didn’t want to end up getting hurt.

“If I’m doing this thing with him, and I’m very aware that it can’t go any further, then I’m like wearing some armor so I’m not feeling anything. So what’s the point?”

Rollins thought it would be best to stay away from relationships for most of his life. But when Lynch rejected her, he couldn’t take it because he wanted her in his life so bad. That’s how he knew he was ready to get settled.

“I thought I needed to just be single. But I turned it into, ‘I can never be in a relationship in my whole life. I just can’t be good to one person.’ So I almost ruined things with her.”

“I think I gave it two days, and I called her back, and I was like, ‘Hey, I think that’s a bad idea. I think we should just be together.’ And she was like, ‘No.’ She protested — protested. I was like, ‘No, I need you now. You’re the thing that makes life okay.’”
