Seth Rollins’ “Plan B” Details Finally Revealed
Seth Rollins’ power grab was flawlessly executed at SummerSlam 2025.
The Visionary was supposedly injured at Saturday Night’s Main Event during his match against LA Knight. He was shown to be out of action by Paul Heyman and Becky Lynch, and fans believed it.
However, at The Biggest Party of the Summer, Rollins unveiled the biggest ruse of the century and arrived at MetLife Stadium in crutches, only to drop them and cash-in on CM Punk minutes after Punk dethroned Gunther.
Paul Heyman explained what Seth Rollins’ “Plan B” was
Ahead of Rollins’ SummerSlam fiasco, both Heyman and he had noted that there is a “Plan B” in place. During The Oracle’s appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, the Hall of Famer revealed that the plan was to move out of the way after winning the Money in the Bank briefcase, and then cashing in when no one saw it coming.
The ruse was especially done to ensure CM Punk doesn’t continue ruining Seth Rollins’ attempts at winning the World Championship.
No, that was Plan B. The story since WrestleMania has been this power grab, and this is what we are calling The Vision, and The Vision was, Seth Rollins in a position of power to lead WWE and indeed the entire industry into the future…The power grab is that you need the title, so we needed the title. Every time Seth Rollins was getting himself in a position where he could go for the championship, CM Punk kept interfering because Rollins made the statement that as long as he is here, he would never be champion.
So we get the Money in the Bank briefcase and get out of the way, so Punk never sees it coming. It just so happened that Punk ended up in the title match at SummerSlam, a happy coincidence on our part, and it just so happened that CM Punk happened to win at SummerSlam.
Some superstars are still in disbelief over what Seth Rollins pulled off at SummerSlam.
