Seth Rollins May Replace Paul Heyman With 11-Time WWE Champion

Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman on WWE RAW

Seth Rollins became a victim of betrayal at the very hands of his own teammates on RAW this week.

After the main event of the show, Rollins and company launched an attack on CM Punk, who had just become the number 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Champion. Moments later, the crowd in Perth saw Bron Breakker spear Rollins out of nowhere. Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman were asked to make a choice, and they chose to ally with Breakker.

Seth Rollins Will Anoint Becky Lynch As His New Manager

Wrestling analyst Sam Roberts analyzed this segment on the emergency episode of his Notsam Wrestling podcast, which he recorded and released shortly after RAW. He stated that despite all his team members deserting him, Rollins will still have his wife and 11-time WWE champion Becky Lynch’s support. Roberts also highlighted that Rollins might replace The Oracle with his wife as his new manager.

Roberts said, “Is Becky Lynch in the mix on all this? Is Becky Lynch gonna have Seth Rollins back? I don’t know if there’s much she can do, but maybe she can take the place of The Oracle, but she’s not really a manager because Becky Lynch is one of the top wrestlers on the roster. She’s got her own thing going on. I mean, it is so unique because it’s so incredibly compelling, but also fairly baffling.” (From 12:02)

In the same episode, Roberts also discussed the potential reason behind why he thinks Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed led a coup against their leader on Monday Night Raw. He thinks it was because The Visionary took them for granted.

“Even though he (Seth Rollins) beat Cody Rhodes, the thing that he was afraid of happening if he lost to Cody Rhodes happened, even though he beat Cody. And I think it happened for a couple of reasons. Number one, he was taking Bron Breakker for granted. He was taking Bronson Reed for granted. These guys were taking care of business, and he made it seem like they were just foot soldiers to him even though he could get work done anyway,” Roberts (11:06 – 11:35)
