Seth Rollins has been out of action since suffering a shoulder injury at WWE Crown Jewel.

At the Perth PLE, Rollins faced Cody Rhodes for the Crown Jewel Championship. While attempting a coast-to-coast, he awkwardly landed on his shoulder, but carried on to finish the match and win.

On the subsequent RAW episode, while addressing the WWE Universe, he was shockingly attacked by his stablemates, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

Later, reports about his legitimate injury emerged, suggesting that the attack by The Vision members was a way for him to be written off.

On the October 20 episode of the red brand, it was confirmed that he had been stripped of the World Heavyweight Championship.

During his time away, Seth Rollins has been rallying behind the Chicago Bears. Appearing on a recent episode of The Rich Eisen Show, he provided a positive update on his road to recovery.

You know, we’re on track. I got the brace off, like last week, middle of the last week. So, it was nice. It’s nice to walk around like a regular person. [23:02 onwards]

WWE Scrapped Roman Reigns Plans After Seth Rollins’ Injury

Seth Rollins’ recent injury forced WWE to change plans involving Roman Reigns.

On the latest Self Made Pro podcast, the panel revealed that Reigns was originally scheduled to run through Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed before challenging Rollins and winning the championship at WrestleMania 42.

The storyline would further see Breakker betray Rollins and set himself on a collision course with Roman Reigns.

At SummerSlam, Reigns would put him over, thus passing the torch to Breakker.

As of this moment, the actual timeline for Rollins’ return remains unclear. While the former World Champion has aimed to return before WrestleMania, only time will tell if that happens.
