Seth Rollins Names The Best Thing He’s Ever Done
Seth Rollins is happier than ever.
On March 10 at Madison Square Garden, CM Punk and Seth Rollins will square off in a highly anticipated Cage Match.
The ill-feeling between Punk and Rollins goes back years and shows no sign of slowing down. However, as both men look to secure a spot at WrestleMania after tasting defeat at Elimination Chamber, they’re prepared to take each other out to get there.
Despite this, it’s been reported that Seth Rollins and CM Punk could meet again at WrestleMania.
Seth Rollins Is Loving Life As A Girl Dad
Ahead of his match with Punk, Rollins sat down with Brandon Tierney and Sal Licata of WFAN Radio to discuss his career to date, as well as his life outside of the ring. When asked about being a father as well as a WWE Superstar, Rollins said being a dad is the best thing he’s ever done.
“It’s the best, dude. I’m a girl dad. I love it, dude. I love it. When I was growing up, I never thought I wanted to be a parent. I was just kind of like real into my own stuff. And I was like, ‘Oh yeah, maybe one day.’ But as I got older I kind of thought, ‘Ah, not going to happen.’ Then you meet the right person and time comes. I mean, it’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”
The former World Champion explained that the wrestling business has changed dramatically in recent years, making it easier on talent than ever. He cited his own schedule dropping from more than 200 matches to around 50 as proof of the change.
“The business has changed so much, it’s evolved so much. And it’s so much more, you know, user-friendly I suppose, for us as performers. The schedule is way pared down even from when I started back in 2012. I went from wrestling 200-plus matches a year to now maybe doing like 50 at most.”
Expanding further, Rollins said the wrestling industry is healthier than ever before, commenting that in the past, it “wrecked families.”
“The business is in a much healthier place than it was, you know, 12 years ago. So — it’s fantastic. And, yeah, you’re right, dude. Those guys [from past eras], it wrecked families. The business wrecked families.
Speaking in a different interview, Seth Rollins branded CM Punk a hypocrite, claiming he’s done everything he criticises others for.
