Seth Rollins looked to get his hands on CM Punk on Raw but instead found himself at the end of a vicious beating by an unexpected WWE star.

At SummerSlam, Seth Rollins was the man in the middle as CM Punk finally returned to a WWE ring for the first time in eight months as he faced Drew McIntyre.

As expected things broke down with Seth Rollins and CM Punk getting in each other’s face before Punk dropped Rollins with a Go 2 Sleep. That distraction was enough for Drew McIntyre to kick Punk below the belt before nailing him a Claymore before Rollins counted the pin.

Seth Rollins Brutally Attacked

On Raw in Baltimore, CM Punk and Seth Rollins came face-to-face as the bad blood between those two stars looked to finally explode. However, Drew McIntyre is clearly not done playing with Punk and he appeared in the crowd, flaunting the bracelet he took from Punk baring Punk’s wife and dog’s name.

As Punk took off to try and confront McIntyre, Seth Rollins was left alone in the ring but not for long. Bronson Reed has expressed his frustrations at his current position in the company and looked to carve out a path to the top as he laid out Rollins in vicious fashion.

Reed nailed Rollins with a Death Valley Driver and a senton before heading up to the top rope and nailing Rollins with six Tsunamis leaving him laid out and spitting up blood.
