True Extent Of Seth Rollins’ Injury Unknown, Surgery To Decide WrestleMania Fate
Seth Rollins will be out of action for several months.
In the closing seconds of the October 13 episode of Raw, Seth Rollins was savagely attacked by Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker, as the duo and Paul Heyman threw the World Champion to the curb.
This was quickly followed by several reports claiming that Rollins has suffered a significant shoulder injury and would be out of action in 2026. It’s believed that Rollins suffered the injury during his match with Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel while hitting a coast-to-coast diving headbutt.
With Rollins injured, plans to break up The Vision were sped up by several months, and a scheduled tag Team Title win for Breakker and Reed was dropped.
Seth Rollins Set For Surgery
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer gave an update on the situation around Rollins. Meltzer reiterated that the star is set for surgery, but no one knows how bad the damage to his shoulder really is.
“He’s having surgery. I mean, that’s 100%…
When they open up, they’ll find out, like, they don’t know all the damage in his shoulder, and they will find out the damage when they open him up, and when they do the surgery, they will have an idea.”
Meltzer went on to explain that while WWE is hoping that Rollins will be fit for WrestleMania, it’s far too early to tell how long his recovery will be.
“I guess the best way to put it is, they hope he’ll be okay for Wrestlemania. There’s no way of knowing one way or the other today whether he will be or not. What is certain is a lengthy absence. But you know he’s out for months for sure, which we already knew.”
It’s been announced that Raw General Manager Adam Pearce will address the uncertainty around Seth Rollins on the October 20 episode of Raw. There’s been a great deal of speculation that this will see Rollins stripped of the World Heavyweight Championship.
