Seth Rollins Forbade Ex-WWE Champion From Mentioning Becky Lynch On TV

Whether or not Seth Rollins has an ego is up for debate, but it is noted that he may not have had the best working relationships with everyone.

Both Rollins and Becky Lynch are pioneers of the industry and play a crucial role in pushing the product.

However, that also comes with them having a say in the type of promos and segments they wish to be a part of, or at least, how personal another superstar can be during any promos.

Matt Riddle revealed a time when Seth Rollins forbade him from mentioning Becky Lynch

During an exclusive interview with Inside The Ring, Matt Riddle spoke about the time he was working a storyline with Seth Rollins, which took digs at his personal life. The World Heavyweight Champion did not give him permission to mention Becky Lynch during promos despite Riddle saying that Rollins could say certain things about his wife and kids.

The Visionary finally allowed Matt Riddle to mention Becky Lynch after Rollins himself mentioned Riddle’s wife in a promo.

I remember even being in story lines with Seth. I told Seth, “Hey, you can say this about me, say this about my kids, you can say this about my wife leaving me.” I said he could. I was like, “You know what? These people are going to be late. They’re going to be like, “Holy crap.” Do you know what he told me? I could say nothing.. He didn’t want me to say anything about Becky.

I wasn’t allowed to say anything about Becky until after he dropped that huge bomb about my wife leaving me and taking the kids and etc.
And then by like a month, and then a month late,r he’s like, “Yeah, you can say like Becky’s the one that wears like the pants in the house or that”.

Previously, the duo did have real-life heat, but managed to get past it.

Currently, Seth Rollins is booked for a Fatal Four-Way for Clash in Paris against LA Knight, Jey Uso, and CM Punk.
