Seth Rollins Finally Taking A Walk In Roman Reigns And CM Punk’s Shoes

Seth Rollins has often been the one to betray rather than being the one facing the betrayal.

He betrayed The Shield in 2014 by taking down Roman Reigns with a Steel Chair, he had Paul Heyman betray The OTC and CM Punk at WrestleMania 41, and finally pulled off the ‘Ruse of the Century’ by faking a knee injury before cashing in against The Best in the World at SummerSlam.

On the WWE RAW after Crown Jewel, Seth Rollins finally tasted his own medicine. The Vision members shockingly turned on him. He was left on the ring floor in agony while Paul Heyman raised Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed’s arms in the air.

An interesting parallel has been drawn between Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk

On Notsam Wrestling, Sam Roberts discussed the events of Monday Night RAW and went through the segment scene by scene. In the first half of the segment, Rollins stood tall over CM Punk with The Vision members just the way he had stood tall over Roman Reigns after SummerSlam.

Seth Rollins dangles the World Heavyweight Championship over CM Punk’s face, saying, “You, you’ll never get this. This will never be yours. This will never be yours.” And we get to this ending that is poetic. This ending of the show that looks very similar to the ending of the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania, when The Vision first formed, when it was just Braun Breaker, Paul Heyman, and Seth Rollins, and they all held their hands together in victory as Roman Reigns laid at their feet. Only this time, CM Punk has been thrown out of the ring.

Finally, he drew a parallel between Rollins and Reigns, revealing that what The Visionary did to The OTC had finally caught up to him.

Paul Heyman approaches them as if he has no choice, but does it in a way where he has made a choice. Grabs their wrists, holds their arms in the air, and the three of them look down on Seth Rollins. That’s the scene that is similar to what we got when Heyman, Rollins, and Braun Breakker look down on Roman Reigns. Bronson, Bron, and Heyman are now looking down on Seth Rollins. After only what, April, May, June, July, August, after 6 months, it would appear Seth Rollins has lost control.

It is being suggested that Seth Rollins is legitimately injured, which is why the global juggernaut had to pivot from the original plans. However, not everyone backstage is convinced since morale had been affected when The Visionary faked a knee injury a few months ago.
