Seth Rollins & Drew McIntyre Make Big WWE Royal Rumble Plans
Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins have set their sights on glory as they reveal their plans for the upcoming WWE Royal Rumble.
CM Punk kicked off the January 13 edition of Raw and picked up where he left off one week prior. After Punk defeated Seth Rollins on Raw’s Netflix debut, he made clear his intentions to be part of the men’s Royal Rumble. CM Punk confirmed that on Raw in San Jose but he soon had familiar company.
Seth Rollins – complete with a black eye – soon appeared to confront Punk. Rollins told Punk that losing to him was the worst defeat of his career and the only way to make up for it was to flush Punk’s dream down the toilet and win the Royal Rumble himself.

Drew McIntyre then appeared and dressed down Seth Rollins for going missing during Tribal Combat as Roman Reigns reclaimed his throne as Tribal Chief. McIntyre wasn’t setting his sights on Rollins or Punk but rather he declared himself for the Royal Rumble so that he can get a shot at championship gold instead of Roman Reigns.
Nia Jax also appeared on the show and noted she’d win the Royal Rumble after she lost her WWE Women’s Championship to Tiffany Stratton, making her the first woman to declare her entry in that match.
