Here’s Why Seth Rollins Doesn’t Need The Vision

Seth Rollins WWE

Seth Rollins has been betrayed by The Vision, but does that really affect him?

The Visionary started the heel faction as a template for what the future of WWE will look like. However, the time he spent with the members to carve out the future has been negligible.

In fact, Paul Heyman gave explicit instructions to Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed not to help The Visionary at Crown Jewel during the Champion vs. Champion match.

Seth Rollins doesn’t need The Vision to be the World Heavyweight Champion

On Notsam Wrestling, Sam Roberts pointed out that Seth Rollins only had Paul Heyman by his side when he cashed-in at SummerSlam, but even that was a part of a huge ruse rather than The Oracle providing any physical assistance. Following that, all premium live events have been either Rollins by himself or with Becky Lynch. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed were nowhere around.

So, despite The Vision turning on him, Seth Rollins is still a star.

If you look at Rollins’s big moments, some of them have The Vision, but some of them don’t, you know, and I think in the last couple of shows when it was like I mean, starting from Clash in Paris, really, he won the championship at SummerSlam, Paul Heyman was by his side, but then the next show was Clash in Paris. That was Becky that helped him.

Then the show after that was Wrestlepalooza. He lost, but that was Becky with him. And then the show after that was Crown Jewel, and he didn’t have them with him at all. So, since he’s been world champion, all these massive moments have been without The Vision, and Seth Rollins still comes across as a main Avenger. Seth Rollins still comes across as a star, and he lost the mixed tag, but that’s it.

Furthermore, he added that if Seth Rollins overcomes CM Punk by himself, provided the match goes ahead, there is no stopping The Visionary from becoming the man who will singlehandedly shape WWE’s future.

And maybe it does make it more compelling. Like, okay, like what if the move is to go into Saturday Night’s Main Event with CM Punk versus Seth Rollins? Maybe that’s where they’ll have the championship match. I have no idea. And now Seth Rollins is going, I’m going in by myself. I don’t need them. And I’m going to take care of them when I’m done taking care of you. But CM Punk, regardless of what my business is with Bron Breakker, regardless of what my business is with Bronson Reed, you will never have the World Heavyweight Championship. And if Seth Rollins can beat CM Punk without the vision, that’s massive.

A super match for Seth Rollins’ journey to stardom can be one against Roman Reigns, where he emerges as the winner to establish himself as a bigger name than The OTC.
