Seth Rollins Critical Of WWE Hall Of Famer
Seth Rollins has shared his thoughts on a controversial WWE Hall of Famer.
On the March 10 episode of Raw, Seth Rollins took another step towards WrestleMania with an unconventional win over CM Punk.
With Punk and Rollins going to war inside a steel cage, the latter appeared to be closing on victory when Roman Reigns made his surprise return to action. Reigns immediately grabbed Rollins from behind and dragged him out of the cage door, handing him a strange victory.
Reigns then hit Rollins with a Superman Punch, Spear, and Stomp before confronting Punk, who was being comforted by Paul Heyman in the ring. Reigns then did the same to Punk before standing tall as the show went off the air.
The Tribal Chief hadn’t been seen since being taken out by Rollins at the Royal Rumble.
Seth Rollins Shares Opinion On Hulk Hogan
Ahead of his clash with Punk on Raw, Seth Rollins sat down for an interview with Brandon Tierney and Sal Licata of WFAN Radio, where he discussed a wide range of topics, including Hulk Hogan.
When asked for his feelings on the veteran after he was heavily booed on his latest WWE appearance, Rollins said that while he’s been good to him personally, that doesn’t make him a good person.
“I was a Hogan fan growing up, yes. I grew up a Hulk Hogan fan. I’ve said it a million times, the dude has been nothing but kind to me in my life and our interactions. Doesn’t make him a good person. Obviously, he’s run into some issues as of late. We’ll see if he clears those up. That’s his business, though.”
When asked whether he was surprised Hogan was booed during the show, Rollins said he wasn’t as he “hasn’t done a lot to harbor goodwill” in recent years.
“No, I was not surprised. I mean, look, he hasn’t done a lot to harbor goodwill in his name over the past few years. So I just think with everything that’s going on with him, he came out, I saw it coming. I don’t know if anybody else did, but I did, yes.”
While Seth Rollins made his point without getting overly angry, another former World Champion recently took a different approach.
During a new interview, Scott Steiner said Hulk Hogan is a “motherf*cker,” and a “piece of sh*t” who spent his career pretending to be something that he wasn’t. Steiner also claimed Hogan ensured he lost his first match after turning heel in WCW as a way of holding him down.
