Seth Rollins Confirms Injury Timeline

Seth Rollins WWE Talk

Will Seth Rollins make it to WrestleMania?

On the October 20 episode of Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins was forced to vacate the World Heavyweight Championship. The blow came after Rollins underwent surgery on a shoulder injury suffered at Crown Jewel.

With Rollins injured, WWE was forced to fast-track his removal from The Vision, and he’s also set to miss Survivor Series, the 2026 Royal Rumble, and he may even have to sit out WrestleMania 42.

In his absence, CM Punk and Jey Uso will now fight over the vacant World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1.

Seth Rollins Shares Injury Details

With very little information available, speculation on Rollins’ status has been running wild. However, some of that can finally be put to bed.

During an appearance on The NFL Network’s Good Morning Football, Rollins confirmed that he’s already undergone surgery on his shoulder and he’s expecting to be out of action for six months. With WrestleMania 42 taking place on April 18 and 19, 2026, this means that there is still a chance that Rollins could compete at the event.

“I wish, I wish I could rip this thing off. But I’m out, guy. I’m out of action for six months. My World Championship is going to be worn by some schmuck, either Jey Uso or CM Punk. It’s awful. It really is the Halloween scaries, guys.”

Despite the injury to Rollins, WWE is reportedly still pushing ahead with its original plans for Survivor Series. This will see a team headed up by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed meet a team led by CM Punk and Roman Reigns inside WarGames.
