Seth Rollins Confirms 3-Time WWE Champion Underwent Surgery

Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins is currently off WWE TV owing to an injury he suffered at Crown Jewel. He is expected to return ahead of WrestleMania 42.

The Visionary had to relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship because of the injury. In his absence, WWE conducted a tournament, and finally CM Punk defeated Jey Uso for the title.

For his injury, Rollins had to get shoulder surgery.

Seth Rollins wasn’t alone in rehab

Recently, The Visionary spoke with Julian Edelman on Games with Names. He revealed that Shawn Michaels also got his knees replaced and was in rehab with him at the same time.

Shawn Michaels just got both of his knees replaced, the same week I was doing my shoulder surgery. Shawn was down there in rehab, and there is me next to Shawn Michaels. He’s my peer now. It’s this weird thing where I’ve become one of them. [H/t: Fightful]

While there is no exact date set for Seth Rollins’ return to WWE, the timeline suggests he will return before WrestleMania 42. In the meantime, The Vision is continuing its feud against CM Punk.

WWE was forced to pivot from the original storyline, which suggested that Bron Breakker would turn on Seth Rollins after he lost the title at WrestleMania. Due to his injury, The Dog turned on him ahead of time and he was written off TV.
