Seth Rollins’ Gear At Clash At The Castle Inspired By “Rocketman”
Seth “Freakin” Rollins is known for his extravagant outfits in WWE and at Clash at the Castle, he paid tribute to a music legend, Elton John.
As “The Visionary” in WWE, Rollins likes to stand out from the crowd with outfits that are colorful. In the past, he has donned outfits like a black & yellow polka dot attire when he was feuding with Cody Rhodes because the legendary Dusty Rhodes (Cody’s father) famously wore black & yellow polka dot outfits in his WWE career.
Since WWE was in the United Kingdom in Cardiff, Wales for Clash at the Castle, Rollins decided to wear an extravagant orange/yellow outfit that was inspired by Elton John’s Rocketman character. Along with the bright fire-inspired design, Rollins adorned wings, horns, and sunglasses.

It was a successful performance for Rollins in his Rocketman-inspired outfit. When Rollins got into the ring, he took off the gear on his upper body and wrestled in the bright orange pants. While Matt Riddle put up a good fight, Rollins managed to hit some big moves in the match including the draping DDT that Riddle’s friend Randy Orton is known for. After Rollins taunted Riddle with some trash talk, Riddle was over-aggressive and Rollins successfully hit his finishing move, The Stomp. With Riddle reeling, Rollins hit The Stomp off the middle ropes for the pinfall win.
During a post-show press conference, Rollins was wearing a jacket with hearts on it as if he was paying tribute to Bret “Hitman” Hart, who famously headlined the last stadium show in England at SummerSlam 1992.
Rollins was one of the wrestlers that spoke to the media where he responded to a reporter by saying that he was dedicated to WWE.
“If we’re trying to rag on me not taking the industry serious, because it’s kind of my life. I’ve dedicated my entire life to it, and I have a lot fun with it, but at the end of the day, it is my passion. I dedicate, literally, every single waking second of eating, sleeping, and not raising my kid to this industry. So, just because I look good doesn’t mean you got to be jealous, my friend.”
