Seth Rollins’ Cash-In May Involve Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes & The Rock
In Seth Rollins’ absence, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns are making their way towards the Undisputed WWE Championship.
The Visionary is out of action owing to an injury. Still, it’s being speculated that he will return at SummerSlam 2025 to cash-in on the winner of CM Punk vs. Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship.
However, the WWE Undisputed Championship will put him right at the top of the roster, considering Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns are fighting for it too.
Seth Rollins and The Rock can form an alliance ahead of the MITB cash-in
There are certain scenarios where Rollins can cash-in the Money in the Bank contract. However, he might not do it all by himself.
The Rock’s exact role in the current storylines is yet to be understood. The Final Boss has already joined hands with John Cena, and he could form a pact with The Visionary as well.
According to Sam Roberts on Notsam Wrestling, Rollins can choose not to cash-in during CM Punk vs. Gunther, but hold on to the briefcase until Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are fighting over the Undisputed WWE Championship.
What if The Rock is on board with Seth Rollins’ mission? What if The Rock doesn’t want Roman Reigns or Cody Rhodes to win that match? What if The Rock sees the value in Seth Rollins? And, what if, at some point, Seth does not screw over CM Punk? What if, at some point, Seth leapfrogs CM Punk? And, with The Rock, goes for the WWE Championship as Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns are fighting over it at some point in the future? Then, you’re left with Seth Rollins and CM Punk having a rivalry over the WWE Championship with The Rock at play, who CM Punk called a ‘bald fraud’.
The Rock has already referred to Rollins as ‘WWE’s Superman’. It won’t be surprising if The Final Boss decides to align with Rollins over Rhodes or Reigns.
