Seth Rollins Touts Career Longevity Compared To WWE Icon
Seth Rollins is proud of the WWE career he has had so far while comparing himself to a legend.
The legacy of Seth Rollins in WWE is secured since the five-time World Champion has done it all in the company that he has been a part of for 14 years. Rollins has held every championship you can win in the company while spending years as one of the top villains and also one of the most popular stars with a catchy theme song.
When it comes to in-ring performance, Seth Rollins is considered one of the best in the business who can have a great match with anybody at any time whether they are the size of Rey Mysterio or Bronson Reed.
During an interview with the Jason Khalipa Podcast, Seth Rollins talked about his longevity in WWE while also mentioning the career of The Rock. While Rollins hasn’t wrestled The Rock in a singles match in WWE, The Rock & Roman Reigns defeated Rollins & Cody Rhodes in the WrestleMania 40 main event this past April.
“You look at guys who, for example, The Rock…The Rock’s run in WWE was like five years. He was only in WWE for, like, five years. That’s it. Like, 97 to 02, and a little bit after that. But that was his main run.
And I’ve already been with the company for, what, thirteen years? I’ve been on the main roster for eleven, ten years…no no, I lied, I’ve been on the main roster for twelve years, been with the company for fourteen years. And I’ve got a lot left in the tank, I feel like.”
As WWE fans know, The Rock’s run in the company was shorter because he pursued a career in Hollywood, which was a smart move for him that worked out well. Rollins likely wasn’t disrespecting Rock with his comments, but using it as an example of how long Rollins has been a top star in the company.
