Seth Rollins Explains Relationship With Bronson Reed After Shocking Alliance
Seth Rollins has attempted to explain his alliance with Bronson Reed, with whom he has had issues in the past.
The ending of WrestleMania 41’s Saturday main event saw Seth Rollins pick up a massive win over CM Punk and Roman Reigns thanks to the “Wise Man” Paul Heyman turning on Punk and Reigns in the same match.
On the Raw after WrestleMania, Bron Breakker joined Rollins and Heyman to form a new group as they took out Punk and Reigns together.
At Saturday Night’s Main Event in Tampa, Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker teamed up to face Punk and Sami Zayn in a huge tag team match. Rollins and Breakker got the win after Bronson Reed showed up to Spear CM Punk into the barricade, and Breakker hit a Spear on Zayn to win the match.
It was Reed’s return to WWE television after missing over six months due to a broken foot suffered in the Survivor Series WarGames match. Even though Reed attacked Rollins repeatedly last summer, which led to a personal rivalry, they are on the same page now since Rollins is a heel.
How Can Seth Rollins Work With Bronson Reed?
The new group featuring Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and the “Wise Man” Paul Heyman has been dominant on Raw, especially since Reed showed up. They still don’t have a name, but they will be a focal point of the red brand moving forward.
During an appearance on the Up And Adams show hosted by Kay Adams, Seth Rollins appeared in character to talk about the run he’s on and the respect he has for Reed.
“I’m a good guy. I haven’t changed a bit. It just so happens that people have come to me and flocked to me. I said before WrestleMania I was going to put an end to Roman Reigns, I was going to put an end to CM Punk, I was going to win the main event of WrestleMania. I did all that. Absolutely nothing changed.
The only difference is that Paul Heyman, Roman Reigns’ Wiseman, decided I was right all along. I came with Paul, they you see Bron Breakker, he wants to learn from me. Bronson Reed, we had a little thing last year, but now there is a lot of respect between the two of us, and now we’re off to the races.”
At WWE Money in the Bank on June 7th in Los Angeles, Seth Rollins is considered by some people to be the favorite to win the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match that will also feature LA Knight, Penta, Andrade, El Grande Americano and Solo Sikoa.
In the same interview with Adams, Rollins named Sikoa as perhaps the biggest threat in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
“I’ve been right all along!”
