The first WrestleMania 39 movie parody aired with Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch paying tribute to Joker and Batman.

With WrestleMania 39 headed to Hollywood at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles, WWE decided to bring back the WrestleMania movie parody videos. It’s the same thing they did at WrestleMania 21 in 2005 when some top WWE stars like John Cena, Kurt Angle, Batista, Triple H and many others were featured in memorable movie clips while hyping up WrestleMania.

At the WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event on Saturday, the husband & wife team of Seth Rollins (or Seth “Freakin” Rollins as he’s known in WWE) and Becky Lynch were featured in a clip with their unique portrayal of The Joker and Batman.

The video started with Seth Rollins walking down a stairwell similar to what Joaquin Phoenix did in his portrayal of The Joker during the 2019 “Joker” film. In this case, the song they played while Rollins happily danced down the steps was his theme song which has become a popular tune with the fans singing along with it. Rollins had his face painted like The Joker.

When Rollins reached the bottom of the steps, his wife Becky Lynch showed up in all-black attire asking what he was doing. Seth said he can’t stop thinking about WrestleMania. Lynch had a line about a man cave, then Seth said he didn’t know they had a man cave, which was a funny line since the audience knows they are a married couple.

Lynch asked about his face paint, Seth said it was exfoliating and asked her about her voice. Lynch spoke with a unique low voice similar to the Batman character and said she’s The Man. She left on her own while Seth Rollins said “she is The Man” and laughed. The WrestleMania logo appeared after that.

There are more WWE WrestleMania 39 movie parody videos coming in the weeks ahead featuring The Bloodline with a tribute to Goodfellas, plus The Miz, Maryse, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, The Brawling Brutes & Street Profits in other videos as well.

The video is also available on WWE’s YouTube channel as well.
