Seth Rollins “An Amazing Performer” Says Recent Rival
Seth Rollins has been around the top of WWE for almost a decade and given his skills and longevity, the star can even elicit praise from his fellow stars that he has beaten in the ring.
At Backlash in Puerto Rico, Seth Rollins went under the radar somewhat given the clamor for Bad Bunny and the talk of the bloody Brock Lesnar/Cody Rhodes match. But Rollins had his work cut out for him on the show as he battled the mighty Omos.
Many were surprised when the bout was announced as the two men had never crossed paths on WWE television before then, but still, the fight was on. Omos survived two Stomps from Rollins before the former WWE Champion headed to the top rope to deliver a devastating top rope Stomp to pick up the win.
Speaking to Mike Jones of DC 101, Omos had nothing but praise for Seth Rollins following their bout:
“Me and Seth, that was our first time ever being in the ring together. We had never been on any house shows together. That was our first time in the ring and having a match, ever. To go out there and do what we did was amazing. I have to give Seth Rollins his props. He’s an amazing performer.”
Seth Rollins will no doubt have more success in his sights after finding out just who he will do battle with at Night of Champions for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
