Seth Rollins Has Physical Altercation With CM Punk, John Cena Also Involved (Video)

John Cena CM Punk WWE Championship

Seth Rollins was involved in a heated situation tonight ahead of the 2025 SummerSlam press conference.

The Visionary, who currently holds the Men’s Money in the Bank briefcase, interrupted John Cena’s entrance at Fanatics Fest New York.

The two had a brief confrontation during which Rollins seemingly teased to go after the Undisputed WWE Champion. Nevertheless, Cena just turned around and left.

While Rollins remained standing on the entranceway, CM Punk emerged from among the crowd and got in the face of his former rival. The confrontation soon escalated into a physical altercation, necessitating the intervention of security personnel.

WWE personality Sam Roberts caught the action on camera and posted the video on his Instagram account.

CM Punk Will Challenge John Cena At WWE Night Of Champions

Since capturing the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania, John Cena has successfully defended the title once against Randy Orton at Backlash.

The Franchise Player would now put his title on the line for the second time against CM Punk at Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Last night on SmackDown, Cena destroyed The Second City Saint and put him through a table before delivering a scathing pipebomb promo aimed at his challenger.

While discussing the segment on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s BroDown podcast, former WWE head writer Vince Russo claimed the only logical way for Punk to recover from what Cena did to him would be to turn heel on the 17-time world champion.

He’s speaking the truth. So if I am Cena, I know I am speaking the truth. If I am freaking Punk lying there, I know he’s spitting the truth too. At some point, you gotta get up and shut him the F up… I don’t know how CM Punk comes back from that other than to turn heel on John Cena.
