“I Wouldn’t Be Offended At All”: Scarlett Bordeaux’s Reaction To Ex-WWE Champion Asking To Kiss Her
What happened when a former WWE champion asked to kiss Scarlett Bordeaux?
Scarlett Bordeaux first met her husband, Killer Kross (fka Karrion Kross), backstage at an independent wrestling event. Although they initially tried to stay away from each other, they eventually got together.
In his book “Life is Fighting,” the former NXT Champion opened up about his connection to Brodeaux, explaining why they did not instantly become a couple.
I knew beyond anything I can rationally explain in this book that Elizabeth was going to be somebody who would be in my life, not just as a close friend. And that’s where all the awkwardness was coming from. We talked about everything that was on our minds—except for that. We weren’t discussing it out of fear. Fear of rejection? Fear of mutual feelings?
All of it. There was something intense that developed on its own between us, and honestly, to this day, I feel as though we know each other from another life. We had met each other, had a family and kids, and had other lives together. I don’t know how to explain it. It may sound silly to some, and I know that.
I had never believed in past lives or reincarnation, but in our case, it is a feeling we both have. Our tender connection and familiarity are something you can’t fake. I certainly have no clue what happens when we die, but I know in some way, Elizabeth and I will always find each other in whatever existence we are in together. I have known her forever.
The Former WWE Couple’s First Kiss Was Special
Killer Kross also opened up about his first kiss with Scarlett Bordeaux in his book. It took place on a hotel rooftop in Mexico City under twinkling stars, as the former WWE star revealed.
The 40-year-old disclosed that he asked his now-wife politely if she would be offended if he kissed her. Although she said that she would not, he remained in denial until their lips touched.
After baring my soul to her, and in the politest way I knew how, I finally asked Elizabeth if she’d be offended if I kissed her. She laughed, and said, ‘No, I wouldn’t be offended at all.’ We shared our first kiss on the hotel rooftop in Mexico City under twinkling stars and an ebony sky. I think I was in denial until the point our lips touched. I was falling in love with this person I barely knew, and I had to tell myself that’s impossible—but it wasn’t. That’s exactly what happened.
Kross and Bordeaux recently left WWE after their contracts expired. They are now active on the independent circuit.
