Dave Meltzer “Relatively Certain” WWE Star Has Been Released

Following his removal from WWE’s roster page, it seems one Monday Night Raw star is done with the company.

Odyssey Jones has been a part of the WWE roster since 2021 beginning in NXT before he was moved to the main roster in 2023. Despite his move in that year’s WWE Draft, Jones didn’t appear on TV raising questions about his future in the company.

However, in recent weeks Jones has resurfaced on Raw alongside The New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods as part of their feud with The Final Testament. Tension had been teased between Woods and Kingston with the former King of the Ring seemingly unsure of Jones while Kingston was wholeheartedly behind the newcomer.

Given his newfound status on Raw, it was even more surprising when Odyssey Jones was removed from the WWE roster on the company’s website which put his status in serious doubt.

Odyssey Jones Looks To Be Done With WWE

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that while it has not been confirmed to him, he believed Odyssey Jones was no longer with WWE especially after he wasn’t referenced on Raw:

He was taken off the roster page, I’ve asked around if it had been any kind of glitch or something, obviously, I think by now it would have been corrected or have heard it was a glitch. I’m relatively certain he’s done but it’s not been confirmed anywhere. I’ve heard a bunch of stories but nothing that I would say is confirmed but it looks like he is no longer with the company.

No mention on the show, his angles done, no clips of if he was injured, no acknowledgement of him at all. Kofi Kingston was on and there was no acknowledgement of what they’d been doing so he’s off, he’s gone.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods appeared on Raw in Denver when they seemed to indicate they wanted to go after the WWE Tag Team Championship with no mention of Jones made.
