Sasha Banks Hints At Huge Match In Japan Against Former WWE Superstar

Sasha Banks could soon be back in the squared circle.

In her most recent Instagram story, Sasha Banks hinted at a possible match between her and former WWE Superstar Kairi Sane, and that bout could also happen in Japan.

For Sane, her last action in World Wrestling Entertainment was almost two years ago, leaving the promotion in 2021. However, Sane still acknowledges her time in WWE on her Twitter, while still being active in professional wrestling for STARDOM.

On Banks’ social media, she posted on Instagram a match graphic that was edited, coming originally from @cosmicangelss on Twitter. The graphic features both Sasha Banks and Kairi Sane, her former rival in WWE. In response to the match graphic, Banks put up a sticker that stated “It’s so very interesting.”

Going viral throughout the wrestling community on social media, the Instagram post would catch Kairi Sane’s attention, with her reacting to the story with a tweet:

A lot of fans would fall in love with the idea of a Japanese match between Banks and Kairi, and this despite the two only squaring off just once in a singles competition, which would take place on a 2020 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. There, Sane would get the victory via disqualification.
